About OVO Painting

OVO Painting exists to take the gamble out of hiring a painter. We're an Atlanta painting company built around one idea: a homeowner should know the price, know the crew, and know the work is guaranteed before anyone opens a can.

WHO WE ARE

Atlanta's Premium Painting Company

OVO Painting is a residential painting company serving homeowners across Metro Atlanta, and we built the entire business around removing the parts of a paint job that usually go wrong. Most people who call us have already lived through the other version: a price that crept upward halfway through the week, a crew of unfamiliar faces that changed day to day, and a finish that started peeling a season later with no one to call. We set out to be the opposite of that. Every OVO project runs on three commitments that never move — a fixed price set in writing before we start, one dedicated project manager on site every working day, and a written five-to-ten-year warranty standing behind the finished work. Those aren't promotions or limited offers. They are simply how we run, on a single accent wall and on a full three-story exterior alike. Over 250 Atlanta homes have now been painted that way, and the result is a 5.0 rating across 135-plus verified Google reviews — a record we protect on every job rather than coast on.

OUR STORY

An Engineer's Discipline, a Craftsman's Care

OVO was founded by Sebastian Thomas, who earned three degrees from Purdue — in Management, Entrepreneurship, and Industrial Engineering — then walked away from a corporate career to run a paint company the way he felt homeowners actually deserved.

Sebastian's background is what shaped how OVO operates. Industrial engineering is the study of how to make a process repeatable and reliable, and he was struck early on by how little of that thinking the painting trade applied to its own work. The pattern he kept seeing was the same: homeowners handed loose verbal estimates, crews swapped out mid-project, and prep skipped to hit a number — three habits that quietly cause most of the complaints in the industry. He started OVO to prove a painting company could be run with the same discipline as any well-built operation, where the price is documented, the crew is accountable, and the quality of the work doesn't depend on which subcontractor happened to show up that morning.

That belief is built into the structure of the company rather than left to good intentions. Sebastian personally reviews every estimate before it reaches a homeowner, so the number you approve has been checked against the real scope of your home — not pulled from a pad in the driveway. He stays involved through the final walkthrough on projects, because the moment a job is "done" is exactly when corners get cut at most companies. OVO grew out of one conviction he still repeats to every new crew member: a homeowner should get precisely what was promised, on every single job, with nothing left to chance or interpretation.

VALUES

What We Believe

The finish matters, but the experience around it matters just as much. These are the convictions every OVO job is run on.

01

The price you approve is the price you pay

We tour your home with you and leave one fixed written quote, itemized line by line. Nothing new gets tacked on once the crew starts — no surprise add-ons, no 'we found something' mid-project.

02

Durability is earned in the prep, not the paint

We wash, scrape, sand, and caulk every surface before a premium Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore coating goes on. That groundwork is the reason a finish holds for years instead of peeling by next summer — and the reason we can warranty it in writing.

03

The same in-house crew finishes what it starts

One team, led by a project manager you'll know by name, carries your job from first coat to last. No anonymous subcontractors handed your keys, no strangers cycling through your home.

04

A home should stay livable while we work

Floors get covered and furniture wrapped, and every room is put back in order at day's end — with a photo update from your project manager each afternoon so the status of your home is never a guess.

DIFFERENCE

What Makes OVO Different

Plenty of painters can put a coat of paint on a wall. What separates OVO is the system around that work — the parts you don't see in a finished photo but feel through the entire project.

An In-House Crew

We use an in-house crew, never rotating subcontractors. The team that starts your home is the team that finishes it. We do not farm projects out to whichever subcontractor is free that week, which is the single biggest reason quality swings from room to room at other companies.

On-Site Project Manager

You are never left guessing about what is happening in your home. One dedicated project manager runs your job in person each working day — directing the crew, holding the schedule, answering your questions, and sending a daily photo update.

Fixed Written Pricing

Before any work begins, you receive one written, itemized quote with the full scope spelled out line by line. The number you approve is the number you pay. We don't invent add-ons once the crew is in your house.

Premium Coatings

OVO finishes homes with Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore products, applied at full thickness in proper coats rather than stretched thin. Combined with thorough surface prep, that is what lets a finish hold its seal through Atlanta's climate.

5–10 Year Warranty

Every project leaves with a warranty in writing, running five to ten years depending on the coatings you choose. If a covered issue surfaces inside that window, we come back and make it right — the repair is on us.

05

Final Walkthrough

You inspect the final project with your crew lead, touch up on the spot, and receive the written warranty.

The OVO Standard, on Every Job

Whether you're refreshing one room or repainting an entire exterior, the work runs on the same commitments. We mean "every job" literally. A homeowner repainting one bedroom gets the same written quote, the same dedicated project manager, the same surface prep, and the same warranty as a homeowner repainting a four-thousand-square-foot exterior. Small projects don't get a B-team or a shortcut, because the reputation we've built across 250-plus Atlanta homes was earned one job at a time.

SERVICE COMMUNITIES

Painting Atlanta and the Surrounding Communities

We're an Atlanta company, and that local footing shapes the work. Painting in the Southeast is its own discipline: the heat, the year-round humidity, the pollen, and the storms that roll through most summer afternoons all punish a finish in ways that painters in drier states never have to plan for. Our crews know the architecture of these neighborhoods — the older homes around Decatur and Druid Hills, the brick and Hardie exteriors across Buckhead, Sandy Springs, and Brookhaven, the newer builds up through Alpharetta, Cumming, and Milton — and they prep and coat each one for the way Georgia weather actually behaves.
