OVO was founded by Sebastian Thomas, who earned three degrees from Purdue — in Management, Entrepreneurship, and Industrial Engineering — then walked away from a corporate career to run a paint company the way he felt homeowners actually deserved.
The engineer in him couldn't accept how the trade usually works: a vague verbal number that creeps upward, a rotating cast of subcontractors, a "guarantee" that disappears when the truck pulls away. So he built OVO around systems you can feel on your own project — a quote that doesn't move once you've signed it, a manager physically on your job each day, and a warranty spelled out in writing.
After hundreds of finished homes, Sebastian still reviews every estimate himself and shows up for the final walkthrough. That standard is the floor we hold every home to, not the ceiling.
