What Our Warranty Covers

How Long Your Warranty Lasts
Your exact term — somewhere in the 5-to-10-year range — is set by the surface and the coating system your project uses, and it's stated in writing in your project documents. As a general guide: well-prepped wood siding and interior work with premium products fall in the longer end of the range, while certain surfaces, materials, or conditions may carry a shorter term. Whatever applies to your home is spelled out clearly before you approve the job, never left vague.
What the Warranty Doesn't Cover
So the guarantee stays honest, a few things sit outside it — the issues that aren't a reflection of our workmanship or materials:
- ✕Normal wear, scuffs, and marks from everyday living
- ✕Damage from accidents, impact, abuse, or improper cleaning
- ✕Failure caused by structural movement, settling, or moisture intrusion from outside our scope (for example, a roof or plumbing leak)
- ✕Surfaces or repairs the homeowner declined when we recommended them
- ✕Work performed by anyone other than OVO after our project is complete
