Day by Day: How the Work Unfolds
Each stage sets up the next, which is why we follow the same disciplined order on every kitchen:
Day 1 — Remove every door, drawer, and piece of hardware, labeling each one so it returns to its exact spot.
Day 2 — Clean every surface to cut the grease, fill dings and imperfections, then sand so the primer can grip.
Day 3 — Lay down a high-adhesion primer across every surface.
Days 4–5 — Spray two coats of cabinet-grade enamel with an HVLP setup, allowing a full 24 hours of cure between coats.
Days 6–7 — Reinstall the doors, drawers, and hardware, handle final touch-ups, and clean the space.
What It's Like While We Work
You keep your kitchen the whole way through. The boxes get finished right where they are, but the doors and drawers travel to our controlled off-site shop for spraying. Spraying off-site keeps airborne dust away from the coating and yields a markedly smoother result than any lived-in home could allow. The water-based, cabinet-grade enamel we use keeps hardening after we leave, reaching its full durable cure within about 30 days.
